Our restored vintage sewing machines are guaranteed to be as described in the listing you find it in. If not as
described you may return it within three days of delivery. If it is possible to correct the problem with little or no effort,
as in sending a missing item or helping you to make an easy adjustment, that will be the first course of satisfying
the issue.
Your machine is also guaranteed to work properly. It is your responsibility to try out the machine as soon as
you receive it. If there are mechanical problems you may return the machine for a full refund of the purchase price, with notification
within 3 days of delivery. Again, if there is a simple solution as in replacing a part or accessory (ie a foot control
or presser foot), that is an easy, user-common operation, that will be the first course of action.
We restore machines to be their best as a sewing machine, but we don't try to mask the signs of a lifetime of
use. Chips, scratches, discoloration and the like are a part of a vintage sewing machine and are
not considered reason for return or refund.
We realize that even with our best efforts, things happen. We're professionally trained shippers
who know how to pack a heavy machine and send it across the country. Still, accidents in transit sometimes happen.
For this reason, you, the buyer, will pay for insurance to cover any damage that may occur. For machines that include free shipping, we pay the insurance. If your machine is damaged
by the shipper, you will receive an insurance settlement when and as the claim is settled. If your
package should arrive with signs of damage, please photograph the package before opening and if, upon opening, damage is found
make sure to save all the packaging for insurance purposes.
